This is an amazing school and my favourite subject is Art and I love the practicals in science, I want to say thank you to all the teachers who teach me for making my first year at Bryngwyn so enjoyable and welcoming. Hi to anyone that remembers me, im 33 years old now so it has been a while. I googled bryngwyn to find out what is going on in the school that gave me a fantastic start in life and noticed that I can actually leave a message. Fantastic. Brief update, I left Bryngwyn to study Law at Cardiff, followed by barrister training at the Inns of Court School of Law in London. I qualified as a barrister and then moved to Sydney, Australia. I have been living here for 10 years now and am Managing Director of a health and wellbeing corporation. Thank you to all my teachers who worked with me to achieve fantastic results, I couldn't have done it without you. Great to hear that the school is doing well and all the very best for the future. I don't get home to the UK much, but im due a visit later this year, I would love to pop in and say hi to anyone that remebers me. Sarah x

I would like to thank all of the teachers that taught me. I left in 1999. I liked the teachers I remember on the day I visited before I started year 7 that I met Mr Kelly and Mr Richards who I though were both mad beacuse they pretended to jump out of their classroom windows! lol. Hello, I left bryngwyn in 2000, I went on to study customer service nvq's (not what I expected mind) I now work as a customer representative in a media company, I am married as of last December and have a daughter who's 6 months old now named Ashlee, I'd like to say this web site is really good and I have enjoyed looking at it, must agree with Mathew Collis it is a great way to pass time while in work, and it's nice to see what he's up to after 6 years. hey everyone! just calling in to say thank you to all my former tutors back there on Dafen Road. Especially D Wyn Jones who was my form tutor for four years. and Ms Harris for my ICT lessons, and Ms Prescott..ahh so many! Things are going well for me at the moment, i am studying a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Manderin Chinese which is interesting to say the least!i am to spend a year studying in China next year which is realy motivating me to do well! Uni is truely international and i advise anyone who gets the oppertunity to go - if only for the free holidays you get from all the forign students! I would just like to say that I know that school can be boring but just think - I left school a year ago and now I am a class room assistant. I did was well at GCSEs and went to college. I have got a recall for the National Youth Theatre of Wales this week (20th April and 21st April) so busy there. I completed my BTEC N.D - Performing Arts course with a 3 x Distinction profile and I am off to study a BA (Hons) Drama & Theatre Arts with Performing Arts course at Middlesex University. Been rather hectic to say the least to be honest. I go by the motto: "Work hard, play hard." Me and Andrew Evans will certainly be doing that in London. Lol. I am a former pupil of Bryngwyn, left in 1983. I am pleased to see that the school has gone from strength to strength, keep up the good work. For those teachers and former pupils who may remember me, I am now living in Hampshire and recently completed a degree in Archaeological Practice in Winchester. Since moving in 1986 I have not visited Llanelli but intend to do so soon to catch up with the places and people I miss. Good luck to all the present pupils.

We like going to this school because most of the teachers are tidy and Mr Richards is awesome. We have made a lot of new friends over the last 2 years and think it's great. The new after school clubs are a new way to meet people as well and they are a really good laugh. And hi to all our friends.

Just like to say what a wonderful show "Joseph" has been to watch! Tthe teachers and pupils have worked wonders. The narrator, Sammy Lelii was brilliant and Benn Williams gave a great performance as Joseph. Well done to all the cast.

Lots of memories of an excellent 5 years at Bryngwyn....great teachers and excellent year group that left in 1998...I still think we had the best rugby team that Bryngwyn or any Llanelli school had to offer.....Clarke John,Grant Wrigglesworth, Simon Gardner, Gareth Jones, Grant Rees, Alex Hill and many more! Currently living in Vancouver, Canada and it would be great to hear from anyone that knows me!!

I am an ex pupil I left in 1994, I am now qualified as a Graphic Designer. It is great to see that Bryngwyn have a website. It would be nice to have old pictures on the site.

My five years in Bryngwyn can only be descibed as simply, "amazing." The time you attend the school is such a crucial period as during that time you turn from a child to a young adult and without such a fantastic team of staff all of those pupils(including myself) would not be half the the people they are today! Last week myself and and a few girls, Bron Ellis, Adrienne, Sherene etc. were in College talking about what great times we had in Bryngwyn and all the great memories we have that we will never forget! Keep it up Bryngwyn!

Just a quick note to say thanks to all the teachers who gave me their full support in Bryngwyn, especially Mr Wyn Jones, Miss Laura Morgan, Mr Phillips, Mrs SK Davies and Mr Watts. Hey everyone, its nice to see the school is on the net. I left Bryngwyn back in 1996 and have since gained a degree in Accounts. I am currently working at 118888 in Swansea until I find a position in my chosen industry. Although I pass the school nearly every day on my travels its great to see the school I went to coming up from a search on google.

I departed company with Bryngwyn (by choice) in 1989 to embark on life elsewhere. Having firstly obtained a carpentry apprenticeship, I decided to join the armed forces where I stayed for 11 years until I found life as a police officer in West Wales a more stable family life.

It seems that the school has improved greatly since I left in 98. This site is a good achievement by the students and it gives us "oldies" a chance to thank those teachers who helped us.I personaly have to thank Mr Kelly for being a great head of year and history teacher. Mrs Ellis and Miss Hewitt for teaching me something resembling decent English. Mr Jones for making GNVQ fun. Thank you.

It is a delight to see that the enthusiam of the pupils have brought together such an interesting sight, not only to current and ex-pupils but to the general puplic. I can only hope that this sight may be a way for ex-pupils to get in touch and catch up on old times. Well done! This website is amazing. Clearly shown a lot of effort and the information available is of a wide scale. The marquee's also provide movement on this website and it is very important to have some sort of interactivity as this is clearly the way forward in web production. The web-site is very informative and easy to navigate. Great to see some pictures of current/recent events - I see that the Eisteddfod event is still going strong. Although, it would be nice to see some staff pictures too! Keep up the good work!

Hey! Cool site. Been missing everyone loads since I moved schools but it's great to see pics of people and know whats going on! Good luck to year 11 in their GCSEs. Miss you all loads! Prom looked great!

As an ex pupil it was a strange experience visiting this site, but well worth the effort.

The Bryngwyn School website is user friendly and informative. It is colourful and smart and the clear instructions make it easy to navigate. I like the layout amd the fact that the information is current. A lot of thought has gone into the content and the website is obviously well maintained. It's a great vehicle for advertising the school.
