Written by Mathew Cooper, Managing Director

M@z&Saverz is the Young Enterprise Company of Bryngwyn. The company was started in October 2001 when our I.T. teacher Mrs Harrries asked Phillip Evans and myself if we would like to participate in the Y E competition. Of course we were more than happy to. We had to choose another four people by asking each other if they had:
· A Positive attitude
· Good attendance
· And whether they were able to work as a team

During the five months that the company has run for there have been many problems. One of the worse problems experienced was when I was handed a forged £5 note.

Products

M@z & Saverz produced two products.

a) Mouse mats and
b) Computer wallpaper

When the company first started M@tz&Saverz produced customised mouse mats. But due to the popularity of the product the demand was greater than our supply of materials. The customised mouse mats took too much time to produce and the company had to discontinue them. A brainstorming session was held by the company directors for any ideas on how we could mass produce the product quickly and efficiently. One of the directors suggested on changing the material of the mouse mats to rubber.
