Salvation Army Appeal

The Christmas appeal simply knows no bounds as far as record breaking is concerned. After last year's total of £2,500 it appeared that an unassailable figure had been reached. But that didn't take account of the determination and resolve of Bryngwyn pupils. As usual all registration forms adopted a number of local underprivileged children and went about trying to think of new, as well as tried and tested ways of raising money. and yes, you've guessed it. The record has once again been broken. A staggering £2,800 has been collected. This year the news programme 'Heno' was on hand to film the handing over of the presents to Captain Les Cook of the Salvation Army. Special mention must be maede to registration group 8.5. Inspired by their fund raising guru, Mr Stephen Campbell they alone raised in excess of £480.00
