Mathematics Made Fun
Not many people appreciate the mathematics involved in a day out to Oakwood Park, but 50 Year 8 pupils had a most enjoyable day exploring waiting times, lengths and times of rides, areas of the park etc. etc. This was part of a joint venture between the maths department and 'Techniquest' to show the relevance of maths in the wider world.
