The DOE award scheme is becoming ever more popular. Seventeen Year 11 pupils successfully completed their Bronze expedition on the Gower this term amidst wind and driving rain. The external assessor was impressed with their good teamwork and high spirits, despite the awful weather. After a visit by the DOE Award Roadshow Bus and a presentation talk to Year 10 pupils a further 37 pupils have registered for the scheme.
