Pupil groupings
Pupils are taught in mixed ability groups except
for those who have particular special needs.
What is taught
Autumn Term: Film music; Blues
Spring Term: China; Notation and keyboard.
Summer Term: Exams/revision; World instruments.
Homework
Research, listening, investigation--based on the topics studied.
How progress is assessed
Compositions and peformances are recorded and marked.
Self assessment booklets are issued at end of each topic/unit
Appraising is marked according to dept. policy and matched against
National Curriculum Levels.
