Boys and girls are taught seperately in mixed ability groups.

The course for the girls includes elements of gymnastics, netball, hockey, dance, cross-country, orienteering.

Homework
Written homework is not employed in this subject at this level. Pupils are encouraged, however, to join local sports clubs
and to spectate at local matches to develop basic knowledge of basic skills and rules.
How Progress is assessed
Continuous assessments as pupils progress through each unit is reported at the end of the school year.
Other Information
Pupils are expected to wear the appropiate school kit as set out in the school prospectus. There is no need to buy specific
school P.E. socks -ordinary sports socks are acceptable.
