Tsunami Disaster Appeal

Tsunami Disaster Appeal

Bryngwyn school pupils and staff swapped clothes for the day in aid of the Tsunami Appeal.

£2500 was raised for the disaster appeal by holding cake stalls, raffles and the non-uniform day.

Local businesses contributed prizes for a staff raffle.

Headteacher Dr Margaret Williams said  "It was super to see the pupils wanting to organise such a day and genuinely make a difference."

The day was organised and co-ordinated by Learning Support Assistants Mrs Dawn Evans and Mrs Susan Griffiths.
